National One Minute Silence Today

Today is the first anniversary of the first national lockdown being announced because of the coronavirus pandemic. A year ago only just over 300 people had died of covid; that is now over 126,000. Alongside people in schools, colleges and workplaces across the country, all at Caedmon College and Whitby Sixth Form will stand in silence for a minute as a way of remembering all of those people who have passed away, their friends and family who mourn them, as well as recognising the heroic efforts of everyone in our health services over the last year.
